The taste of wine has a strong structure based on smooth, elegant tannins. Shades of cherry, blackberry, prune, mulberry, spices, liquorice, tobacco and wood are fully preserved until the end of a long, persistent finish.

Nero Di Troy - the ancient grape variety of Puglia, which Italians are very proud of. It has a very dark, almost black color and gives rich, concentrated wines. "Corte Balda" Nero di Troia, Puglia IGP is produced using strictly controlled technology. Nero Di Troy grapes are usually harvested in mid-October when it reaches full maturity. After pressing, the juice is placed in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. After 22-25 days it is filtered, and then kept in oak barrels for 12 months. Wine spends another 6 months in bottles in cellars with a constant temperature.
In 1880, Francesco Rocca founded Vinicola Rocca company that has become the meaning of the lives of four generations of his descendants. In 1936 his son, Angelo, has significantly increased the volume of production and built his own cellar in Nardò (Apulia). En bottling line appeared only in the 1960s, allowing them to focus on the issue of own brand wines Rocca.
Currently, the storage area of 5,000 m², two modern bottling lines provide efficient production of 10 million bottles per hour. Ernesto Rocca (the founder's grandson) along with his 4 sons, manages a wine farm of Angelo Rocca & Figli, delivering to the market a decent wine, highly rated by consumers in Europe, America and Asia.
