Colle Belvedere, Barbaresco is a magnificent red wine, one of the best wines produced from Nebbiolo grapes. Harvest is collected manually in the first half of October. The grapes are crushed and macerated for 19 days, then squeezed and poured into French and Austrian oak barrels where the wine ripens within 12 months. Before going on sale, Barbaresco is still bottled for 12 more months. As a result, the wine acquires a rich red-ruby color, intense fruity aroma and bright taste with a pleasant spicy aftertaste.
Agricola Gian Piero Marrone - a family company for four generations who have dedicated themselves to work in the vineyards. In 1957, Gian Piero Marrone bought a small farm in the heart of the Langhe and along with his son planted vines. The first wine are produced solely for personal use and a number of regular customers. Over time, more and more family members become connected to the business, the customer base has expanded, and the company entered the international market. Today Marrone products are exported to 26 countries. The vineyards are divided in different terroirs with a different composition of the soil, each of which is grown a variety, taking the best exposure for him. Age of vineyards is almost 60 years old, which allows the wine of exceptional quality with excellent storage potential through traditional winemaking methods. The harvest is grown without the use of chemicals and pesticides and is harvested by hand.
Agricola Gian Piero Marrone annually produces 200,000 bottles of wine, bottling is carried out on special lines without contact with oxygen in order to avoid any loss of quality.
