Wine Clos Berenguer, "Clos de Tafall", Priorat DOQ, 2018
Reviews of purchase Clos Berenguer, "Clos de Tafall", Priorat DOQ, 2018
Wine ruby-red color.
The bold, tannic taste of the wine is highly complex, balanced and concentrated. The energetic tones of cherry, prune, lavender, cedar and incense are supported by balsamic and chocolate hints.
The rich aroma of the wine is created by interweaving numerous shades of blackberry, cherry, raspberry, vanilla, new skin, sage, moist earth and tobacco.
Wine blends perfectly with salty meat, hearty dishes, pasta with a rich sauce.
In the blend "Clos de Tafall", Priorat DOQ there are grapes of the varieties Garnacha, Carignano, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah from all parts of the company. Thus it turns out high-quality wine, which is intended for a wide range of consumers. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out for 28 days in stainless steel tanks, after which malolactic fermentation begins in French oak barrels 1-4 passages, in which the wine remains for 12 months. Before bottling the wine "Clos de Tafall" is cleared through 3 filters.
Clos Berenguer is a family-owned winery that occupies a unique location. The farm building was erected above the old manganese mine, which ceased operations in the 1930s. To create a 3-level construction, some tunnels and mines were restored to ensure the movement of grape juice only due to gravitational force and to create underground cellars for storing wine with ideal conditions. 7 hectares of vineyards are located exclusively in the Priorat DOQ region. Clos Berenguer focuses only on the production of decent and extraordinary wines of the area.
