Reviews of purchase Clark-Claudon Vineyards, "Estate Grown" Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, 2009
The wine is a dark ruby color, lighter on the rim.
The taste of wine is perfectly balanced, has a fair amount of tannins and pleasant fruity acidity. Abundant colors of black fruit in the long aftertaste diluted with notes of chocolate, flowers, spicy oak, espresso and plum liqueur.
The enticing aroma of the wine shows notes of plums, licorice, cassis, figs, leather, dried herbs and soy.
The wine goes well with red meats and mature cheeses.
