Reviews of purchase Cinzia Bergaglio, "La Fornace", Gavi DOCG, 2017
The wine is light straw yellow with greenish reflections.
The taste of wine is dry, harmonious, balanced, fresh, with fruity notes and a piquant, persistent aftertaste.
Intense, but delicate aroma of wine is filled with notes of linden blossom and freshly baked bread, nuances of white flowers and a green apple.
Wine is an excellent aperitif, goes well with hot and cold appetizers, fish, soups, cheeses.
"La Fornace" - a delicate, aromatic wine with a well-balanced acidity and pronounced freshness. The wine is made from Cortese grapes grown in the municipality of Tarassolo on calcareous tuff-like soil. The grape juice obtained after direct pressing is fermented in temperature-controlled tanks using selected yeast. This is followed by natural decantation, cooling the wine to –5 ° C in a special thermally controlled container, final filtering and bottling.
The vineyards of the Cinzia Bergaglio farm extend to the municipalities of Tassarolo and Gavi. The methods of work in the vineyards, in accordance with European legislation, guarantee the ecological cultivation of the land with a low environmental impact and with the use of increasingly sophisticated tools and mechanisms. All this is combined with experience and little secrets that are passed down from generation to generation. The goal of hard work in the vineyards and the winery is to obtain high-quality wine that has unique characteristics, but does not lose its strong connection with the terroir.
