Tasting Notes
Wine of deep, rich ruby color.
This elegant wine has a balanced taste, with hints of licorice, fruit and velvety tannins. Over time, the wine reveals notes of cherry, plum, minerals, truffle, musk, undergrowth and tobacco lingering aftertaste. The wine has great aging potential, and eventually becomes even more harmonious and complex.
Wine exudes a wonderful flavor of ripe black fruit, blueberries, blackberries, cherries, spicy tones of spices and tobacco.
Wine matches perfectly with red meat dishes (grilled meat, lamb, veal), duck and traditional French cuisine.

"Chateau de Pibarnon" Rouge is a so-called "Southern Rhone Blend", which consists of grape varieties Mourvedre and Grenache in a ratio of 9: 1. The vineyards are located in the region of Bandol, near the sea, on the terraces of a hill at an altitude of about 300 meters.
