Interesting Facts
The wines of the "Premium" line from the Château Rubin are filled with the sun and the aromas of Provence. Respecting the regional tradition of winemaking and using the most up-to-date technologies, the enologists of the Chateau Rubin create classic Provencal wines - light, savory, fruit, well combined with traditional dishes of southern cuisine.
"Premium" Blanc is made from grape varieties Semillon, Uni Blanc, Role and Claret. Harvest is collected at night, each variety is vinified separately. After grinding and film maceration, the mold is pressed and cooled. Fermentation takes place at a temperature of 16-18 ° C for 15 days. The composition of the final blend is determined at the tasting in order to obtain the optimum balance. After assembly, the wine is filtered and bottled. The storage potential of Premium Blanc is 3 years.

The Chateau Rubin Estate is in the heart of Provence and is one of the oldest wineries in all of France. The first mention of it dates back to the XIV century: then, in 1307, the Templars transferred these lands to the possession of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem. Being an important strategic point, this estate also attracted many pilgrims and travelers for centuries through its beauty. In 1953, the Ministry of Agriculture assigned the classification to the lands "Crewe Class". The history of the vineyard is represented on the arms of the Templars - the dragon symbolizes the city of Draguignan, the Leo - the city of Lorge, and the sun's rays of Provence protect these lands. Today the owner of the estate - Madame Roussel-Ribot and her team extracts from this terroir a maximum, to create fine wines with a world reputation. On 320 acres with a beautiful exposition and clay-limestone soil today grows 13 varieties of grapes. At the heart of the producers' work is an environmentally friendly approach, respect for nature is the key principle - in 2008 Chateau Rubin was awarded the "Agriculture Raisonnee" certificate for responsible business in relation to nature.
