Wine brilliant ruby color.
Taste wine srednetely, rounded, harmonious, with a dense texture, velvety tannins and a noticeable notes of spices in the long aftertaste.
Elegant aroma of the wine is filled with notes of blueberry, plum and licorice.
The wine goes well with veal with berry sauce, lamb chops, pork with vegetables and cheese average degree of exposure.
Interesting Facts
History Chateau Piron economy has more than three centuries, starting with 1699. In 1693, according to the old records of the city administration, here come the first members of the family Bouar, settling in a small valley Gât-Mort.
The first award was received for winemaking Gabriel Bouar in 1905 at the competition in Liege. To this day management of the economy is in the hands of the family. In 1840 they owned 10 hectares of vineyards today to Chateau Piron attached 23 ha. They are located in the commune of Saint-Morillon, that sub-Leognan. The soils are clay-limestone-rich gravel.
