Chateau Mille Roses Haut-Medoc - great French wine, which is made from hand-picked and carefully selected grapes. The wine is aged in barrels of French and American oak for 12 months (30% of the barrels - new). Chateau Mille Rose is bottled without filtration.
Winery Chateau Mille Roses was founded in 1999 by David Faure, who had previously worked in the vineyards in Burgundy, Provence, Zhuransone, but later decided to return to his native Médoc in Bordeaux. Agriculture Miles Chateau Rose is located in Macau, close to the famous appellation Margaux and Chateau Zhiskur. Mille Roses means "a thousand roses." This name was given to the winery after the mother of David, which is grown here different kinds of roses. Today, farm size is 9, 6 hectares. In the vineyards grow 25-30-year-old vines of Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) and Merlot (40%). In the year of farm produces about 2,500 cases of wine.
In 2003, the French edition of La Revue du Vin de France honored David Faure honorary title "Winemaker of the Year".
