Chateau Lilian Ladouys - incredibly balanced, rich wine that impresses from the first second. It is made from grapes that grow on clay, limestone and gravel soils hazyaystva Château Lilian fret. The average age of the vines is 40 years. After harvesting, the berries undergo traditional vinification, which includes fermentation in stainless steel tanks and malolactic fermentation, which takes place in tanks (90%) and French oak barrels (10%). Wine is aged 14-06 months in French oak barrels, of which 40% - new. Annual production of wine Chateau Lilian Ladouys is around 20,000 bottles.
Producer's description
The origins of Chateau Lilian Ladouys go to far in 1654, when the estate was called Chateau La Doys. In the XVIII century the property was bought by a family Barre (Barre) and has been in their possession for over 150 years. By the beginning of XX century due to lack of funds and neglect the estate was in a dilapidated state. Chateau owners were forced to sell part of its vineyards to repay their debts. Only with the arrival of new owners, Christian and Lilian Thieblot, which began to invest in the estate, upgrade it, Château Lilian fret again began to flourish. In 2007 the estate was resold to the French businessman Jacky Lorenzetti, who is also the owner of several Chateau in Medoc and Pauillac.
