Wine of deep ruby color.
The taste of wine is full bodied, round, fruity with a pleasant sweetness, elastic tannins and a long finish appealing.
The aroma of wine rich tones of strawberries mixed with hints of black currant, tobacco and licorice.
The wine goes well with white meat, poultry, first meal of pork, soft cheeses.
Since 1982, the Château Le Shen, like Chateau La Tunnel, Fabre belongs to the family, which also owns a nice Chateau Lamothe Cissac, and is a member of the Domain Fabre. Vineyards Chateau occupy 29 hectares and is located in the fertile clayey and sandy-gravelly soils, resting on deep gravelly subsoil. The roots of the vines are able to penetrate deep into this great terroir that gives tannins and sweet style, so characteristic of wines O'Medok.
