Tasting Notes
The wine is dark plum color with violet hues.
The wine reveals a soft, pleasant, refreshing taste with notes of red fruits, ripe tannins and good acidity.
Bouquet of the wine is filled with aromas of new leather, black currants, blackberries, dark fruit and spice, subtle nuances of tobacco.
The wine goes well with dishes of roast or stew, vegetable soup, mushroom pies and pastries with chocolate.

Chateau Lanessan, 2005 - interesting, decent wine with refreshing fruit flavors and a rich aromatic bouquet. This wine requires endurance, over time it becomes more enjoyable. To create a wine using grapes of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Age of vines - 30 years. Berries are harvested by mechanical sorting fruit at maturity. Interestingly, Château Lanessan, one of the finest estates in O'Medoc, was listed as a Class 4 Cru by Lawton in 1815.
