Tasting Notes
Wine dense ruby-purple color.
The wine shows rich, incredibly concentrated flavor, combining elegance, depth and clarity. Feels fine, silky tannins and notes of cherry, lilac and violet.
The aroma of wine - a luxurious symphony, woven from notes of cherry brandy and licorice extract, supplemented with delicate floral notes and nuances of truffles.

Chateau Lafleur - exceptional wine with a powerful, full-bodied flavor, velvety texture, fabulous aroma and incredible finish. Experts recommend to consume this drink over the next 40-60 years. For the production of Chateau Lafleur use equal or close to that proportion of grape varieties Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The wine is fermented in concrete vats with long maceration period. For malolactic fermentation, the wine is moved in small oak barrels, where it remains for further aging for 18 months. Half of the barrels is updated annually.

Vineyards Chateau Lafleur occupy 4.5 hectares on the plateau of Pomerol gravel, at a very deep soils rich in potassium and iron deposits. The vineyards are used only organic fertilizers. Yields area is very small, even by the standards of Pomerol (20 hl per hectare under AOC allowed in Chapter 40), but the quality of Merlot and Cabernet Franc grown here is excellent, and the wine produced - only in Pomerol, to compete with the famous wines of Chateau Petrus. The average age of the vines is 40 years. Stocking density - 5900 plants per hectare.
