Reviews of purchase Chateau La Croix de Gay, Pomerol AOC, 2008
Wine rich ruby color.
Full-bodied, dense, perfectly balanced taste of the wine has an expressive structure, low acidity and ripe tannins noble.
Complex, rich flavor of the wine is filled with tones of red fruit that is in harmony with hints of spices, light notes of smoked and smoke.
The wine goes well with both the refined French cuisine, such as foie gras, truffles, white veal, as well as more simple dishes of Spanish and Italian food: pasta, hot Neapolitan, chicken in sherry in Spanish and others. As appetizers ideal Gorgonzola and other blue cheeses, as well as Parma ham prosciutto.
Today, Chateau La Croix de Gay belongs to Dr. Alain Raynaud. Production management is a huge success and popularity not only in France but also far beyond its borders.
