Wine deep purple, almost inky.
The wine has an elegant, exquisite taste, which combines the tones of black cherries, berries, licorice and earth nuances. On the palate felt very bright tannins, which smoothes moderate acidity. The finish is moderately long, but decanting it becomes more intense and bold.

Blend wine includes all 5 varieties grown in the Chateau. Like all work in the vineyard, harvesting is done by hand, too. Berries are carefully sorted and subjected to cold maceration for more complete extraction of color and flavor. Fermentation is made in wooden and concrete vats at a controlled temperature with twice-daily pumping, then one-third of the wort passes malolactic fermentation in wooden barrels. The wine is aged in French oak barrels Allier and Nevers, 50% of which are updated annually, within 18 months.
Origin Chateau Larose Gryuo associated with the name of Joseph Knight Stanislas Gryuo and relate to 1725. His heirs - the judge and priest - joined vineyards in one, with a total area of 116 hectares, and called Fond-Bedeau. It is noteworthy that the wine they produced in the form of two separate cuvée - Abbot Gryuo and Chevalier de Gryuo. Chevalier de Gryuo reputed eccentric. He built a tower above the vineyard to watch the workers. Heirs Sebastian de la Rosa sold Balgeri Pierre Baron and the HKSAR. These two families ran the estate for about 50 years, until in 1867 did not split and divided into two parts - Chateau Larose Gryuo HKSAR and Chateau Larose Gryuo Fort. In the XX century both estates bought and reunited Cordier. However, in 1983 he sold the estate to the French bank, the Company de Suez, and in 1997 acquired the Château Larose Gryuo Taillan Group led by Jacques Merlot, which has 60 years was known in Bordeaux negociant, and in 1976 began buying real estate in the region and was the owner of Chateau la Gurgen, Chateau Haut-Bagh liberals Chateau Ferrier, Chateau Sitran and others.
Today the area Chateau Larose Gryuo is 165 hectares, of which 82 hectares are vineyards. Terroir is typical of the region, deep gravel soils planted with 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot and 2% Malbec.
