Initially, the estate vineyard Chateau Gaudin limited only 4 hectares, which in 1901 bought the ancestor of the current owner of the charismatic, Madame Jeanne Capdevila - Sieur year. Occupation winemaking has become a major in his family, and the secrets of creating a skilled wines were transferred from generation to generation. Over the years, the family visited the property in the possession of three generations, and the size of the vineyards increased to 11 hectares. The estate is located in the commune of Pauillac. The vineyards are located on the detrital ridges near the village of Saint-Lambert, in an area that has more than a great reputation. The average age of the vines in the vineyards is 40 years, 85% of the landings of Cabernet Sauvignon, which is considered the hallmark of this region.
