Tasting Notes
Wine rich ruby color with purple reflections.
The wine has a soft, medium bodied with dominant notes of plum and cherry. In a pleasant aftertaste appear vanilla nuances.
The elegant, complex aromas of wine infused cherry and plum tones, complemented by floral nuances and shades of autumn foliage.
Wine is perfect for a hot dish of beef, lamb and duck.

Refined red wine Chateau Cordet made from Merlot grapes (1/3) and Cabernet (2/3) growing on sand and gravel soils appellasone Margot and perfectly complement each other in the blend. Harvesting is done mechanically. Aged in French oak barrels lasts from 10 to 12 months. Filtration before bottling is not carried out. Vintage 2010 has a very dense taste with fine tannins and great charm.

Montbrison Chateau dates back to the middle of the XVIII century. Its origin is confusing and has several versions. For one, the owner of the Chateau, is a part of the real estate Dyurfort-Lacombe, was the Marquis de Montalambert widow who in 1768 divided the property between the two nephews - Vicomte de Vivenom and Mr Montbrison, so there was a separate Chateau Montbrison. In the second version, the Chateau was a farm adjacent to the powerful Chateau d'Arsak, who controlled the family Segur. In 1749, the Chateau was handed over to Mr. de Kopmarten, an advisor to King in Bordeaux, who owned it until 1818. In 1818, Madame de Komparten sell the domain Arzak and his small vineyard Paul Georges de Montbrison for 75,000 francs. Whether he was the nephew of the Marquis de Montalambert - is unknown. Robert Davis, a Protestant clergyman, poet, painter and an American journalist of German descent during World War II falls in love with Kathleen Johnston, daughter of Nathaniel Johnston, owner of Chateau Margaux-Dauzac and Chateau Ducru-Beaucaillou, who was a nurse in the French Red Cross. After their marriage in 1922, they acquire a beautiful estate Montbrison Chateau Margaux and remain. Today Chateau controls grandson Davis - Laurent, which also has its own "wine" business in the US. Davis and his descendants had done a lot to restore the Chateau. In 1963, the vineyards were completely replanted, and in 1978 - built new cellars.
