Chateau Corbin - delicious red wine has a rich, elegant taste with excellent texture and charming fruity aroma. It combines perfectly with all kinds of dishes of meat and mature cheeses. In the production of wine grapes used varieties of Merlot and Cabernet Franc harvested from old vines. Crop is harvested by hand, berries are double sorting. Maceration lasts 3-4 weeks. Producer's description
Chateau Corbin is one of the oldest castles in appellasone Saint-Emilion. According to legend, in the XV century the estate was the central fortress, which belonged to the Black Prince (Black Prince). In 1924 the estate purchased grandparents of the current owners. Since 1999, the property is managed by Anabelle Cruse-Bardinet, who is a graduate of the University of Bordeaux and represents the fourth generation of the family.
Vineyards Chateau Corbin cover an area of 13 hectares, the terroir of the estate consists of two types of soil: sandy soil with ancient iron subsoil clay and clay soils. For the production of the main wine farm uses only the best grapes harvested from old vines.
