Producer's description
The company Champagne Hure Freres has been conducting family business for more than 50 years. Today Raul Ure and his two sons - Francois and Pierre - lead a family history, sharing a passion for winemaking. The winery is located in Luda, in Montagne de Reims. The company's vineyards are located in a mosaic of unique terroirs: in every village, on every hill, on every site. Their variety offers grapes with various aromatic profiles, which the Ure family seeks to respect and improve. This desire to preserve the uniqueness of the terroirs leads to a careful choice of the methods and time of vinification to develop complex and elegant champagne wines, becoming a living reflection of the land on which they are born.
In work on vineyards, cultural practices are used that respect the soil. The Ure family believes that viticulture contributes to a delicate balance between soil, plant and climate. The purpose of this work is to preserve the living soils that provide harmonious growth of the vines, so that they offer a healthy, mature, balanced grapes, which is an indispensable guarantee of quality champagne!
