The taste of wine is pleasant, smooth, intense, sweet, with hints of jam from red berries and spices, nuances of eucalyptus, vanilla, chocolate and a long finish.
The bright aroma of the wine is dominated by tones of fresh Satsuma plum, notes of spices, roasted nuts and earth.
The wine goes well with fried, stewed or grilled meat, barbecue, hamburgers, various cheeses.
"Chalk Hill" Shiraz is an attractive red dry wine with a bright aroma and a very smooth, sweet, full-bodied taste. The wine is made from Shiraz grapes from several premium plots, the age of the vines on which is 25-45 years. After fermentation, the wine is aged 15 months in new (15-20%) and previously used French barrels. The potential for wine storage is 5-7 years.
