Reviews of purchase "Chalk Hill" Fiano, 2016
The wine is bright straw color.
The taste of wine is amazingly bright, focused, long-lasting, with a delicate satin texture, tones of juicy white and citrus fruits and a crispy, almost salty acidity, reaching the end of an exciting aftertaste.
The lush aroma of the wine reveals notes of fruit with white pulp, honey, Tahitian lime and guava.
Great wine as an aperitif, combined with seafood, grilled fish, white meat, leek pie and goat cheese.
"Chalk Hill" Fiano - a very bright, exciting white wine with rich fruity notes and juicy, salty, refreshing acidity. The wine is made from Fiano grapes, which are mainly grown in southern Italy, but in Australia it shows excellent results. Harvested by hand from a vineyard in the McLaren Valley. Fermentation and aging of wine takes place in steel tanks. The wine storage potential is 4-5 years.
