Grape harvest in 2008 was collected in early March. Berries have been a 3-day cold maceration for maximum extraction of color and flavor and fermentation in American and French oak barriques. The wine is aged for 18 months in barrels of French (60%) and American (40%) oak. Thanks to its excellent balance and a strong tannin-based wine will continue to grow until 2013.

The company was founded Wirra Wirra Strengveyzom Robert Wigley in 1894.
