Wine Castello Monaci, "Maru" Negroamaro, Salento IGT, 2010
Reviews of purchase Castello Monaci, "Maru" Negroamaro, Salento IGT, 2010
Wine beautiful, rich, rigorous dark garnet color.
Mature, full, rounded taste of the wine shows rich shades of dark fruit, faceted light, delicate bitterness. The wine has good acidity and a long finish.
Deep and expressive aroma of the wine is filled with notes of cherries, ripe plums, spices, dried figs, tobacco and herbs that bring in a bouquet of light bitterness.
Wine matches perfectly with roasted and braised red meats, cheese, grilled fish and mutton.
