Reviews of purchase Castelgiocondo Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, 2004
Wine rich ruby-red color.
The wine has an intense, explosive fruity with silky tannins, excellent balance of alcohol and acidity. A long, persistent finish.
The wine has a rich bouquet, opening aromas of ripe fruit and mint, which are replaced by spicy notes of coffee.
Wine is perfect for stews, served with potatoes; sustained, but not too spicy cheeses; perfectly with the game.
