The winery Cantine Volpi was founded in 1914 in the city of Tortona, located in the center of Piedmont. The picturesque city lies about 56 km west of Asti and 72 km north of the Tyrrhenian Sea. This corner of Piedmont includes such vineyards as Collie Torontese, Gavi and Oltrepo Pavese. Here, mainly cultivated grape varieties Cortese and Barbera. Soils are rich in sandstone, clay and mineral salts. Gradually, the family winemaking business has become a key player in the regional market. The company produces a wide range of classic Italian wines, the production of which is carried out in strict accordance with the requirements of organic farming.
