The birth of the wine "Terlaner I Grande Cuvee", says enologist Rudi Kofler, was a real quest to create the perfect human creations that can express the true, the most profound wines Cantina Terlano. The goal was achieved. In 2011, it came to light wine that embodies centuries-old tradition of the winery and combines the strengths of the best grapes and the terroir of vineyards.
2013 presented a great winemakers harvest of white grapes. History of the cooperative "Cantina Terlano" began more than 100 years ago with the unification of 24 wine producers to jointly confront the invasion of phylloxera. Now the cooperative has about 100 producers, the total area of vineyards "Terlano" is 150 hectares, produced 1.2 million bottles of wine annually. Vineyards members of the cooperative "Cantina Terlano" located in the foothills of the ridge Chogelberg, at an altitude of 250 to 900 meters above sea level, which is beneficial in growing and breeding grapes. This is one of the rare wine collections of Italy, clearly showing how mature and harmonious wines are "Terlano", as well as the elegant and refined, they are able to grow old.
Under the leadership of enologist Rudi Kofler in a modern cellar Terlano aged red (40%) and white (60%) of wine three different lines:
