Mario Caramel, a wine merchant and a vinegar producer from Oderzo, and Roberto de Lucca, an oenologist and winemaker, have teamed up to create sparkling wines and unleash the potential of the local Glera grape variety. The family-owned winery Mazi , located in the Valpolicella region in eastern Veneto, is a fast-growing and innovative company. The name of the winery comes from the name of the first vineyard "Vaio dei Masi" - "Little Valley Mazi", acquired by the Boscaini family in 1772. Buying new plots in the classical zones - Bardolino, Valpolicella and Soave, the company gradually increased the volume of wine production, improving its quality. The winery uses a traditional approach in the manufacture of wines, based on a combination of respect for the terroir and the latest technology. Wines are produced using traditional methods using the technique of "appassimento" and double fermentation.
