Interesting Facts
To create Lugana DOC wine, Turbian grapes were grown, grown on white-clay soils of Lugana. After manual harvesting of the bunch, fermentation was carried out in steel thermoregulated tanks. Thanks to the highest quality of berries and perfectly verified technology, the wine carries the characteristic varietal tone of the Turbian grapes, accentuated by juicy fruit shades and pleasant, almond aftertaste.
Producer's description
The Ca 'Lojera Winery is located near Lake Garda and the town of Sirmione. It was founded by the spouses, Franco and Ambra Tyraboski, having bought in 1992 the old winemaking economy. The winery has 18 hectares of vineyards. The Turbian vines grow on their valley part, the Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties cover the slopes of the hills. Annually Ka 'Loiera produces only 120 thousand bottles of wine. They are sold directly to restaurants, wine bars and specialized shops, a small part is exported.
The labels of the winery Ca 'Lauer shows a wolf local legend hero. Residents of the neighborhood claim that in the old days, Garda and the small Frassinet lake were connected by numerous canals. Smugglers on boats sailed from the north and used coastal houses to store goods. Approaches to such houses were guarded by specially trained wolves. The nearby Ca 'Loiera winery has made the image of this animal its own symbol.
