Reviews of purchase CGW, "Umano" Rkatsiteli Qvevri
The wine has a bright golden amber color.
The taste of the wine repeats the nuances of the aroma, impressing with its light tannin structure, fresh acidity and a long, dry, slightly spicy aftertaste with a subtle bitterness.
The luxurious aroma of the wine seduces with notes of honey, dried fruits, toasted nuts and spices.
The wine will perfectly complement the taste of fried pork, lamb and cheese platter.
"Umano" Rkatsiteli Qvevri is a spicy Georgian orange wine, which is produced according to the old Georgian technology, which has more than 8000 years of history, from the Rkatsiteli grape variety. The grapes are grown in the Tsinandali microzone, in the Kakheti region. Tsinandali is the heart of Kakheti, where light clay and calcareous soils prevail in the vineyards. Harvested when the berries reach optimum ripeness. Fermentation in contact with the skin and aging of wine take place in kvevri - huge clay jugs buried in the ground.
