Producer's description
Bundaberg Brewed Drinks is a family-owned Australian company with a leading position in the premium soft drinks market in Australia and New Zealand. The company has been producing craft beverages since 1960 and has successfully exported its products to over 30 countries around the world, including New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the United States, Singapore and other countries. Bundaberg's success and recognition is based on the use of natural fruit juices, herbs, spices, and ginger and sugarcane from the fertile soils of the subtropical state of Queensland on the east coast of Australia.
The history of the company began with the founding of a Flemish family of a brewery in the small Australian town of Bundaberg, which has been producing first-class drinks from generation to generation for more than 40 years. The company gradually expanded its capacity, so in 1968 Neville and Gladys Fleming, along with their son, Cliff, and daughter-in-law, Lee Fleming, acquired the Electra Breweries (Bundaberg), a bottling and fermentation plant. During 1970-1980, the main focus of the company was on the local market. The company produced and sold franchised drinks in Bundaberg and Maryborough. In 1985, Neville and Gladys Fleming retired, handing over management to the next generation of the family, Cliff and Lee Fleming. Under their management, the company moved to a new level, starting in 1987 to export its products all over the world. In 1995, the company changed its name to Bundaberg Brewed Drinks to create a distinct brand and introduced its motto: "Brew to be the best" , which underlines the company's key goal of high product quality.
