Reviews of purchase Bruno Giacosa, Barolo Le Rocche del Falletto Riserva, 2009
Wine of deep garnet-red color.
A full-bodied wine has a three-dimensional, deep flavor with an excellent balance between acidity and light sweetness, rich and velvety tannins.
In the complex aroma of the wine infused shades of raspberry, dried cherries, plums, spices and wild herbs, supplemented by subtle nuances of tobacco, menthol and coffee beans.
The wine is best with game, grilled meats in red sauce and mature cheeses.
