Reviews of purchase Bruno Giacosa, Barolo Le Rocche del Falletto Riserva, 2001
Wine of deep garnet color.
Taste wine volume and deep, with perfectly balanced mild acidity, pleasant sweetness and velvety tannins.
Complex, multifaceted bouquet of wine filled with aromas of dried cherry, raspberry and plum tart blend harmoniously with hints of meadow grasses, tobacco and coffee and light menthol nuances.
Wine is the perfect accompaniment for meat, grilled, roasted game, mature cheeses. In addition, the wine can be used as a standalone drink.
