Wine of deep ruby color.
The wine has a nice exotic flavor with expressive fruit tones, nuances of nutmeg and pepper, a slight tinge of minerals and supple tannins.
The wine has a discreet, fresh aroma with notes of fruit, cherries, plums and licorice notes.

For the 2009 vintage grapes were harvested in the period from September 9 to October 8. Alcoholic fermentation lasted for 20 days at a temperature of 30-32 ° C. Wine matures for 16 months in oak barrels, of which 50% - new. Then Chianti Classico Riserva another 8 months kept in bottles.

Producer's description
Manor Brankayya uniting two names - Branca and Poppy, 1981 owns a couple from Switzerland - Brigitte and Bruno Widmer.
