Bouchard Aine & Fils, Saint-Joseph AOP - dry red wine from the expanses of Saint-Joseph, for the manufacture of which the manufacturer uses Syrah grapes. The crop is harvested by hand, and then transported to the winery, where it is destabilized and carefully pressed. During alcoholic fermentation, the wort is constantly stirred. For aging winemakers use oak barrels of different sizes, which provides the wine a unique structure and aroma. The aging process lasts 12 months.
House Bouchard Aine & Fils is proud of its long history and age-old traditions. At its origins is Michel Bouchard, who in 1731 moved to Burgundy with a single purpose - to sell wine. His collaboration with the local growers and winemakers dive on Wednesday could not leave indifferent Michel, and together with his son, Joseph Bouchard, he moved from trading other people's wines to the production of their own. The aim was to create a family Bouchard perfect quality wines that would become synonymous with the word "prestige." Good wine requires good grapes. Restricting the yield and the use of environmentally friendly methods of cultivation are the main directions in the production of quality wines. Bouchard House Ene & Fils constantly working with over 30 farms located in Burgundy and Beaujolais, buying grapes and wine only from those manufacturers, which vouches for the quality of his or her signature.
In 2000, Bouchard Aine & Fils acquired a new winery, which has been equipped according to the strict requirements of the production specifications. Exposure wines is carried out in two cellars, designed for 760 drums of 228 liters each. Masters wineries try to stick to the old French proverb: "the art of winemaking is to know when to do nothing."
