Tasting Notes
Wine bright and brilliant color with ruby tint.
The wine has a distinctive taste - round and full-bodied, with well-integrated tannins, hints of wild berries (mainly blackberries) and light mineral tint.
The wine has a fruity aroma with notes of ripe cherry, raspberry, mixed with more complex hints of clove and spices.
Wine is perfect for meat dishes, lamb under the hot sauce, barbecue, Mediterranean cuisine.

The wines of Baron Philippe de Rothschild - one of the best in the world. It was the first Baron Philippe Rothschild, took winemaking seriously. Philippe de Rothschild first tried out most of the technologies that are used today by all Château class. The main innovation of the Baron was the fact that the wines have become bottled directly at the estate, not from merchants. In addition, the processes themselves have been improved winemaking, which resulted from the Cabernet Sauvignon refinement, expressiveness, power and lifetime, almost to infinity. Baron Philippe was also the only person who was able to make changes to the approved 1855 classification of Bordeaux wines. The very same name of Baron - Castle Mouton Rothschild is classified as «must see» Bordeaux for all the guests, as Baron Philippe and his daughter, the Philippines, is now the owner of the chateau, many years collecting works of art related to wine. The castle houses the Museum "Wine in Art", founded in 1962.
