The wine is a deep ruby purple color.
The taste of wine is pleasant, rich, with a perfect balance between alcohol, acidity and tannin structure, a long finish.
The aroma of wine tones of raspberries and ripe plums are complemented by spicy notes of white and black pepper, herbs, sandalwood and oak.
The wine goes well with red meat dishes, especially with fried lamb, stewed beef, stuffed duck, and sharp and cheeses (semi-solid and mature).
"Tres Ojos" Garnacha is an attractive red wine with excellent saturation and the perfect balance between alcohol level, acidity and tannic structure. Wine grapes are grown in the Kalatayud region, located in the Ribota Valley, about 30 kilometers north of the city of Kalatayud. After separation from the ridges and crushing, the grapes are fermented with selected yeast for 7-10 days. After fermentation, part of the wort is macerated with the skin for no more than 9 days in order to optimize the extraction of polyphenolic compounds. Then both parts of the wort are subjected to malolactic fermentation and blended, after which the wine is aged 3 months in oak barrels.
