Reviews of purchase Chacra, "Barda" Pinot Noir, Patagonia Rio Negro, 2010
The wine is bright red.
The taste of wine is very elegant, silky, juicy, with a light ostrinkoy harmony with flexible sweetness, with a beautiful energy expressed in intense notes of red fruit and lingering sweet aftertaste.
Thin, fragrant aroma of the wine is filled with tones of roses, strawberries, currants, cherries and spices, complemented by hints of earth, smoke and salty caramel.
Wine matches perfectly with the Christmas turkey, roast duck, beef, game, salmon, veal.
Wine "Barda", 2010 - just fabulous wine, one of the best vintages Piero Inchisa to date in terms of style and quality. It is more elegant and refined, in comparison with previous vintages, wine with fresh energetic intensity and a long finish.
The grapes for the production of "The Bard" is assembled by hand in the early morning, combs and separated manually. Fermentation of about three weeks in cement tanks, only natural yeast. Aging in Burgundy barriques, of which 25% - a new, and 75% - annual, lasted 11 months. Before bottling the wine is not filtered. Now wine or drink can be stored for 5 years.
Marquis Piero della Rocchetta Inchisa - one of the most famous Italian wine makers, members of the clan della Rocchetta Inchisa grandson Marchese Mario Incisa della Roquette and nephew Nicolo Incisa della Roquette. His ancestors were engaged in wine in the XVII century, and his grandfather created the great Sassicaia. Piero decided to prove that something is capable of without the help of family. Rejecting the brilliant financial career, he became involved with wine. Bodega Chakra (Bodega Chacra) appeared in 2004, when Piero bought an abandoned vineyard with 1932 vines of Pinot Noir, located in the valley of the Rio Negro, in northern Patagonia. Terroir Chacra, towering 250 meters above sea level, on a combination of climate and calcareous soil is ideal for growing Pinot Noir. By the vineyard in 1932 and its own newly planted vineyards were added in 1955 and 1967. Incisa produces a separate wine with each of them. Piero also produces more wine Barda - "Hedges". It serves as a second wine farm on the model of Bordeaux chateau.
