Tasting Notes
The wine is dark ruby color with a purple hue.
This wine has a powerful taste with a buttery texture. Full, generous and well-structured wine, with the young, but not aggressive tannins. The finish is rich notes of black currant, blackberry, pepper and liquorice.
Wine has a rich spicy aroma with notes of truffle and wild nuances.
Wine perfectly complements red meat (especially in the marinade) and game dishes, lamb and goes well with cheese.

Chateau de la Rouviere - is a castle built in the 19th century, which overlooks the beautiful southern slopes of the vineyard, where there are magnificent Mourvèdre vines. Family Byunan owns this vineyard since 1969. Age of majority of vines - 50 years. In such wonderful surroundings are excellent wines with unique characteristics, one of them - red wine Château la Ruver. It is produced by the best grapes. Maceration takes place in wooden vats conical shape. Shutter speed is carried out in oak barrels.

Under the control of the family is now in three farms in Bandol, but only two belong to them: Moulin des Costes and Mas Chateau de la Rouviere, and the third, Domaine de Belouve, rent.
