Wine Balthasar Ress, "Hattenheim Nussbrunnen" Rheingau Riesling GG trocken, 2013, 1.5 L
Reviews of purchase Balthasar Ress, "Hattenheim Nussbrunnen" Rheingau Riesling GG trocken, 2013, 1.5 L
The wine is a golden yellow color.
Very nice, quite compact, slightly sweet, lively taste of wine contains fruit, vegetables and clear land and mineral notes, nuances of caramel and flowers in the background. Elegant acidity, soft texture and sustainable aftertaste give the taste a certain depth.
The outstanding flavor of wine can be traced tone colors and yellow fruit, vegetable hues, subtle nut and tobacco notes, hints of nutmeg.
The wine goes well with rich fish dishes, white meat, risotto, cheese.
Vineyard "Nussbrunnen", located in Hattenhayme and having the status of GG ("Großes Gewächs"), comparable with French Grands Crus gets its name from a walnut tree, once abundantly surrounding vineyards. The plot has an excellent location due to which it is protected from cold northern winds and has a special microclimate. Deep loamy loess soils guarantees the perfect balance of water even in dry years. From the harvest from that vineyard produce high-quality mature wines with expressive character and a large storage potential.
The grapes for the creation of "Hattenhaym Nusbrunnen" Rheingau Riesling Trocken is hand-assembled by selective selection in several passes. Transporting the grapes to the winery is carried out with very great care, in small boxes. Fermentation and aging of wine are in stainless steel tanks and small oak barrels.
The history of the famous German Balthasar Ress winery began in 1870. Today it is one of the most famous companies in the Rheingau region, which specializes in the production of wines other than a bright personality and charm. This result is achieved through the connection of tradition and modern technology.
