Tasting Notes
The wine is dark ruby color with ink reflections.
The taste of wine is filled with stringy tones of ripe dark fruit, licorice and hints of a jam. As the taste, texture and appears rounded notes of plums in dark chocolate. The average duration of aftertaste filled with youthful tannins and fruit.
The aroma of wine is made up of lush tones of blackberry, cherry liqueur, smoked oak, shades of black currant, plum, black coffee, cocoa, licorice and smoke.
The wine is recommended to serve with meat dishes and mature cheeses.

Magnificent harvest of 2009 asked a very high bar for regional wines, however, "Bad Boy" in 2009 took a worthy place and received very good reviews from wine gurus such as magazine "Wine Spectator" and an expert James Suckling. One of the issues of the journal contained a review of Bordeaux wines, 2009, and articles on Jean-Louis and his brainchild, called "The villain of Bordeaux" ("Bordeaux's Black Sheep"). Article consisted of 6 (!) Pages of text and photos. In a special supplement to release the highlights at best in terms of price and quality of the wine, "Bad Boy" in 2009 took one of the first places.

Critics, despite the recognition of the quality and originality of wine Chateau Valandraud, some annoyed by the fact that Jean-Luc Tyunevan easily violated Bordeaux winemaking tradition - his fault just do not fit standard to Bordeaux.
