Vintage Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, 2010 is built from high quality grapes Sangiovese, which was assembled by hand in areas of southern and south-western exposure "Le Capezzine" and "I Poggetti", at an altitude of 270-330 meters above sea level. Thanks to these climatic conditions, the grapes have been enough time to achieve the perfect balance. The harvest took place from 21 to 23 September. Alcoholic fermentation and maceration lasted for about 20 days. The wine is aged in oak barrels for 18 months, with 80% of the wine was kept in normal barriques and 20% - in large barrels recycled in order to obtain the sensitive nature of the drink. In the cellars Avignonesi wine bottles held in another 6 months.
Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2010 took 58th place in the "Top-100 Wines of the Year" ("Top 100 best wines of the year") according to the "Wine Spectator". Vintage 2010 is recommended to use until 2022.

Several centuries later, in 1974, the company has experienced considerable change - control winery passed three brothers Fulvia by which Avignonesi become a strong player in the Italian wine market, and has become one of the largest landowners in the region with more than 250 hectares of lands, of which 225 ha were placed under the vineyards.
The main activity of the company is focused on the production of Avignonesi powerful red wines "Vino Nobile", which brought fame to the wine house. Avignonesi also produces a small amount of sweet wine "Vin Santo" - one of the best in its class. Apart from the traditional to the region of Montalcino wines, the company produces wine Supertuscan: "Desiderio" grape varieties Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, "50 & 50" from Sangiovese and Merlot, as well as white wine "Il Marzocco" of Chardonnay.
