Notes of flowers, raspberries, plums, Mediterranean herbs gradually revealed in a remarkably rich, complex bouquet of wine, supplemented by notes of tobacco and delicate nuances of coffee beans.
The wine goes well with meat dishes, roast game and mature cheeses flavored. Before serving wine must saturate with oxygen for 30 minutes in large glasses-shaped tulip.

Avignonesi-Capannelle 50 & 50 - is a wonderful wine, the production of which Sangiovese and Merlot aged separately for 14 months, and after a single assemblage wine is poured into barrels where it matures for 3-8 months and then bottled.
The idea of creating a delicious wine 50 & 50 was born in 1988, which turned out to be a record harvest in Tuscany. Then Raffaele Rossetti decides to create a wine, combining the two varieties - from Sangiovese and Merlot from Capannelle economy Avignonesi di Montepulciano. So there was great Avignonesi-Capannelle 50 & 50, get a lot of high marks from the most reputable publications.
Capannelle winery was founded in 1974 when Raffaele Rossetti bought the estate of the 17th century, located in Gaiole in Chianti, Tuscany. Since then, the estate is significantly transformed, made many renovations and restoration works, so that in the environment harmoniously combines elements of those times with exclusive and modern high technology. Today, the area of the farm is about 20 hectares, 16 of which are distributed under the vineyards. Each year, the winery produces about Capannelle 80,000 bottles of wine.
