Reviews of purchase "Aultmore" 12 Years Old, in tube, 0.7 L
Whiskey bright golden-yellow color.
Taste delicate whiskey, sweet and slightly spicy, with copious notes of icing sugar, honey and vanilla, hints of malt and herbal nuances of lemon. The finish is a little short and sharp, with savory and spicy notes of lemon.
The aroma of whiskey fresh, delicate and sweet. For the first notes of honey and vanilla followed by barley and soft shades of freshly cut grass, the nuances of spices and lemon zest.
Whiskey is recommended in its pure form, as a digestif.

Aultmore Distillery is located a few miles north of town on the eastern outskirts of Kate Speyside. The factory was founded in 1895 by Alexander Edward, the son of David Edward, owner Benrinnes. Alexander Edward was an important figure in the world of whiskey, he was also the owner of the Craigellachie distilleries and Oban. The financial crisis in the whiskey industry caused by the introduction of Prohibition in the United States, forced him to sell Oban and Aultmore new owners - they become John Dewar and his sons in 1923. The plant was reconstructed in 1970 and increase production twice. In 1998, "Oltmor" Bacardi bought the team and the management company of the plant became John Dewar & Sons. Most of the production is the production of blends, such as the famous Johnnie Walker. Corporate identity is Aultmore honey and vanilla oak character.
