The wine is a deep ruby red color with a purple hue.

The wine is created from varieties grown in the Piedmont Barbera, the harvest is collected from 5 to 15 October. Vinification carried conventional manner: wort is fermented for about 10 days under conditions of temperature control, and then kept in oak barrels for 8 months. The wine is recommended to serve with pasta dishes, white meat, pork and mature cheeses.
