Jeannot is one of the oldest houses, which began its history in 1851. Four generations of the Jeannot family, starting from the founder - Pierre Etienne Jeannot, passed on the secret of creating "Grand Armagnac" from father to son. In 1993, Jeannot's house was purchased by the Gionevetti family, whose basic principles are meticulous attention to detail and quality. Today, Maison Janneau is one of the few producers who distill, age and bottle their products entirely in the region of origin - in the Armagnac appellation.
