Wine Angove, "Muscle Man" Shiraz, McLaren Vale, 2017
Reviews of purchase Angove, "Muscle Man" Shiraz, McLaren Vale, 2017
The wine is bright crimson-purple.
Wine with a full body, soft fruit and berry taste with notes of red berries and shades of spices in a thin aftertaste.
The stunning aroma of wine abounds with blackberry notes and dark plum.
This is a truly outstanding wine, a player for all time, which is perfectly combined with dense versions of red pasta, barbecue and meat, cooked on the grill.
Red dry Australian wine "Muscle Man" Shiraz is made of the same grape variety. Shiraz is grown on vineyards in the small town of McLaren Vale, famous for the fact that the best red wines of Australia are produced here. The vintage season of 2013 started in the most favorable way, promising an excellent vintage, but soon there was an unforeseen heat and the harvest was too rapid. Vinification of small healthy berries with thick skins took place in this way. The crushed grapes were placed in 4-ton cement vertical open vats, age 70, and left for alcoholic fermentation on "wild" yeast. Careful and careful mixing of wine wort with the mandatory dipping of the "cap" promoted the best extraction of flavor and aromatic substances from the grape skin. After the completion of alcoholic fermentation, the wine substratum remained on contact with the skin for a week to give depth and complexity to the "medium mouth" and the aftertaste of the future wine. Wine in French and American oak barrels lasted for 9 months.
The wine of the 2013 harvest was awarded a bronze medal at the "International Wine Challenge, 2016" championship.
