Wine Amos Baneres, "Missatge En Una Ampolla", Penedes DO, 2015
Reviews of purchase Amos Baneres, "Missatge En Una Ampolla", Penedes DO, 2015
The wine is straw-yellow with golden-amber sparks.
In the oily taste of wine, acidity and minerality are well pronounced. Notes of citrus and apple Golden, framed by the nuances of avocado, rosemary, heather, chamomile, resin and eucalyptus make up a complex bouquet. The aftertaste ends with subtle hints of almonds and ginger.
The aroma of wine reveals shades of white fruits, citrus, quince and prunes, which are accompanied by a light background of balsamic and floral nuances, hints of ginger and rosemary.
The wine is excellent as an aperitif and will be a good addition to light snacks, cream cheese, brynza, salads and seafood.
Amos Baneres wine, "Missatge En Una Ampolla", Penedes DO comes from a small vineyard of the same name, broken on limestone-clay soil. Elegant, very expressive white wine with excellent minerality, acidity and fullness. Macabeo grape is pressed and then fermented in stainless steel tanks on its own yeast and a small amount (3%) of whole bunches. Sedimentation was carried out in steel tanks for 6 months. The wine is not clarified and not filtered.
Amos Baneres worked as a pharmacist for many years before deciding to follow his desire and make wine from the family vineyards that his grandfather planted. The first issue in 2011 showed that he made the right choice. At its small plot of 5.5 hectares, Amos Baneres realizes the philosophy - no matter what area of the vineyard, it still has the potential and can give wines with a unique character. The role of the winemaker is to take care of the father about a child who needs to understand and help find himself in this life. The principle of maximum non-interference in natural processes works on the vineyard and the winery and only manual labor is used. The wine output is extremely limited and ranges from 600 to 2500 bottles per year. With the support of Alex Ruiz Masaks, famous for his wines Cava, in 2015, a joint venture Els Vinyerons Vins Naturals was created, where both founders work in a spirit of maximum interaction with nature.
