Reviews of purchase "Amalaya", 2010
Wine of deep ruby color with bright purple reflections.
Beverage wine with fresh taste, with expressive fruit and spicy tones, hints of white pepper and rounded tannins.
Intense fruity aroma of the wine is filled with notes of cherry, raspberry and black berries, such as mulberry, as well as the nuances of chocolate.
This wine can be enjoyed in conjunction with roasted meat, game, duck, pasta with red sauce, a variety of light and medium-mature cheeses.
Grapes for wine production "Amalayya" harvested by hand in the March 30-pound boxes, delivered to the winery and sorted again by hand. After a 4-day cold maceration, berries are slow fermentation using yeast for 18-20 days and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Then 20% of the wine is aged in French oak barrels for 10 months.
