Tasting Notes
The wine is deep, intense and attractive ruby-red color.
Taste wine generous, elegant and well balanced, with round, concentrated and purified tannins that highlight the ripe fruit tones. The finish is long and thick.
Aromatic bouquet of wine is clean and open, with notes of blackberry, black currant and licorice, which are complemented by nuances of vanilla, dark chocolate, incense and spices.
Nice wine to enjoy both in pure form and in a pair with game, duck, meat pate and red meat. It also served to mellow flavored cheeses such as Roquefort and Gorgonzola.
