Reviews of purchase "Almaviva", 2011
Wine of deep ruby red color.
Almaviva - elegant, well-balanced wine with smooth silky tannins, harmonious acidity and a clean, fresh, multi-faceted taste. In the long aftertaste caught interesting notes of jam and haze.
Complex and delicate bouquet reveals delicate and clean aromas of blackberry, black currant and fig accompanied by shades of cocoa, vanilla and butterscotch.
Nice wine to enjoy both in pure form and in a pair with game, duck, meat pate and red meat. It also served to mellow flavored cheeses such as Roquefort and Gorgonzola.
